It's Monday!!!!

Well it's time to shake off the weekend and focus on our goals for this week. I just feel like my house is kind of drab and I want to freshen it up with something. So I was browsing for some ideas. I love looking through pages of pictures for ideas. Here are a few that I really like. I really hoping to get my house under control this week. I need to get rid of clutter, but it's so hard. Well I hope everyone has a productive day. If it's warm, open up the blinds and windows and breath in some fresh air.

Bathroom?

Well I want to redo my main bathroom. The one thing I don't like about my home is that my main bathroom is not only shared by my kids but any guests I have. Anyone who has kids knows how hard it is to keep that room looking nice and clean.

So.... I am going to repaint it. Freshen it up. I really want to do a nice butter yellow color. I have really thought about this color. The bathroom is small and has no windows so I am hoping that the color will bring some much needed light to the room. Here's hoping!!!

Olympics!!!

I have had so much fun watching the Olympics. Especially watching Canada. I wish that I could be up there to enjoy in the celebration. I miss it all the time. GO CANADA!! I have been so impressed with the athletes. It amazes me to watch their devotion to their sport. Many for nothing more than knowing they are the best. To hear about the mothers and fathers that sacrifice so much and put their lives on hold to pursue a career that they know will never pay them great money.

So I decided in honor of the Olympics I designed a couple pieces of wall art in their honor.

Robot Kick!!!!

I think robots are so cute. I have had these designs for a while but just haven't put them up. These were all designed with my nieces and nephews in mind.

I have been trying to make some designs from the customer favorites I received. I love these. I especially love the Skinny Jeans quote. I still have mine hanging in my closet and this is the year that I am going to fit back into them. I know I can make the miracle happen. Enjoy!!!

Organization huh?

Well many of you know that my husband is gone for a year and that has made me be a little more organized. I can't tell you that I am always organized at all but my house feels a little more calm when I am. I am trying to design a few items that I think will help with that. The first are these chalk decals. It seem that the older the kids get the more I am running around. This is really going to help me. Especially since I think I have the shortest memory of anyone I know. I am also going to put a piece of chalk board vinyl on their doors. I can write little notes to them and let them know what their chore is for the day. All sounds good in theory... the magic is following through :)

Have you ever tried to help an 8th grader with Math?

Have you ever tried to help an 8th grader with their homework? Well I thought I was decent in Math when I was younger but apparently they have changed Math since I was a student because I don't remember anything that my son is doing.

So I decided to use Geometry to design (since I couldn't figure out the homework). The other night I was watching a really funny show called the Middle and saw some really fun designs that were incorporated in the home. I decided to try something like it.

It's hard to see but in the top right corner of the picture is the design I really liked.

The New Year

Things have been kind of crazy around Willow Creek Signs lately. We are being featured on KidSteals again and we are up to eye balls in orders for etsy and kidsteals. We are trying to keep up with life. We want to thank everyone who has helped to make 2009 a wonderful and beautiful year. Lets hope that 2010 brings luck to us all.

Below are a couple new designs. As soon as I have a little extra time I will put a few more up. Many of the quotes we received from our customers are being used. I loved them. Now it's a matter of finding the time to design them.
